Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 3, 2026. This policy explains how Asian Brush Painters handles information when you browse this store, place an order, create an account, subscribe to updates, or contact us. If you have a privacy question or request, use the contact email shown at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

When you place an order or use an account, the store may process your name, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, order contents, payment and fulfillment status, and messages you send us. Newsletter signup and the optional Spin to Win promotion use the email address you submit. The promotion also stores the prize and coupon issued, its expiry, and a browser identifier to prevent repeat claims and remind you about an unused coupon. The customer support chat may store your messages and any name or email address you choose to provide.

Our Live View feature records an anonymous browser session, page paths, referral domain, broad device and browser type, visit times, and whether the session has an active cart or is on a checkout page. It also records the session's current IP address and an approximate country, region, or city inferred locally from that IP. It does not provide GPS or precise location. Account and order paths are shortened before analytics storage; page query strings and fragments are not stored there.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the store, process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, respond to requests, send updates you request, maintain security, and understand store activity. We use approximate visitor statistics to monitor the store; an anonymous browser session is not an exact count of individual people.

Payments and service providers

If you choose Stripe at checkout, Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive payment status and transaction information needed to manage your order, refunds, and disputes; this store does not need your full card number to do so. Shipping carriers receive the delivery details needed to fulfill an order. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process data to operate the store. Links to the forum, social media, or external tracking services take you to services with their own policies.

Cookies and visitor analytics

The store uses cookies needed for sessions, account login, cart, and checkout. Spin to Win uses a browser cookie to recover an issued coupon and local storage to show the promotion at most once per day. The support chat uses a browser cookie to recover a guest conversation after you use the chat. Live View uses a browser cookie to distinguish anonymous sessions; its default lifetime is 30 minutes with activity, and its visitor records are normally removed after about 24 hours. These settings can be changed by the store operator. By default, Live View respects supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and excludes common automated traffic. If a consent setting is enabled for analytics, collection starts only after consent.

Sharing, retention, and security

We share information with service providers only as needed for payment, delivery, support, and operation of the store, or when required by law. Order, account, and support records may be kept for customer service, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Support chat messages do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can avoid optional newsletter signup and support chat, and you can use your browser settings to manage cookies and privacy signals. You may contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Some records may need to be retained for orders, accounting, security, or legal reasons. We will handle requests under applicable law.

We may update this page when store practices or services change. The effective date at the top shows when this version was published.
